18 AWG 4Pairs Type MC-HL PVC Individual + Overall Shield Continuously Welded Armor Cable 600V
18 AWG 4Pairs Type MC-HL PVC Individual + Overall Shield Continuously Welded Armor Cable 600V
Applications:
The metal-clad cable is an electrical wire that is often used in severe and hazardous environments where the maximum conductor and electrostatic interference protection are needed. It can continuously operate in temperatures of up to 90°C in both wet and dry conditions. For use in harsh environments where maximum conductor and electrostatic interference protection is required. Impervious armor prevents the entrance of water, gas, and corrosive elements into the electrical core. Used for instrumentation and process and control applications in a broad range of commercial and industrial applications. Approved for continuous use at 90°C in wet or dry locations. May be installed indoors or outdoors, aerially, in conduits, ducts, cable trays, or direct burial in circuits not exceeding 600 volts.

Conductor:
Bare, annealed copper per ASTM B-3, class B stranded per ASTM B-8, Copper is used for this application because of its amazing electrical properties and flexibility.
Insulation:
Insulation is very important in any electrical cable since it prevents the electrocution of cable handlers. PVC Polyvinyl Chloride And Nylon, This metal cable insulation is XLPE insulation, type XHHW-2 per UL 44, which is flexible but very tough, made of a complex chain of molecules forming a sturdy polymer.
Jacket:
Black sunlight-resistant PVC
Inner Jacket:
PVC Polyvinyl Chloride with rip cord
Individual Shield:
Aluminum/polyester tape with tinned copper drain wire
Overall Shield:
Aluminum/polyester tape with tinned copper drain wire
Armor:
Impervious corrugated aluminum armor, The armor protects the cable from external damages in addition to the shield and is made using impervious continuously welded and corrugated aluminum.
