Applications:

ACWU is a building wire primarily designed for direct burial and the use in hazardous conditions. This multi-purpose electrical wire can be used in dry and wet conditions, both as concealed and exposed wiring. It is also perfect for all types of electrical cable trays, regardless of whether they are ventilated. Other uses include power distribution, branch circuits, and power distribution. The recommended temperatures for installation are between -40 C and 90 C. The electrical cable is rated at 600 v.

Conductors:

Multi-conductor ACWU cables have 1 to 4 aluminum conductors with a bare aluminum bonding ground wire. Aluminum conductors are compact or compressed Class B.

Insulation:

The cables are equipped with a cross-linked RW90 XLPE polyethylene insulation. It is resistant to flow, aging, and high temperatures. The cable has an aluminum Interlocked Armour (AIA).

Jacket:

The cable has a PVC jacket per FT4 and AG14 standards. It is resistant to flames, moisture, and sunlight.
