Type JX Wire is commonly used in aluminum and steel plants, pulp and paper, glass, automotive, petrochemical, heat treating, and food processing factories. The primary purpose of this electrical cable is to extend the thermocouple signal economically. The electrical cable has a temperature range of 0°C – 200°C. It is rated 300V.

Construction:
Conductor:
A stranded conductor is made of iron-constantan. The conductor has an overall aluminum/Mylar shield with a tinned copper drain wire. Conductors are arranged in a two-conductor parallel (duplex) construction.
Insulation:
The insulation is made of 105°C flame-retardant Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) color-coded per ISA/ANSI MC96.1.
Jacket:
Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), color-coded per ISA/ANSI MC96.1 in white or red.
